Deusa ex Machina collection: The Gaia earrings

The Gaia earrings are inspired by the primal Greek goddess of the Earth, known as the great mother of all and often referred to as “Mother Earth”.

Colour options: Each set is a one of a kind, unique colour combination. Each set is numbered in the order they were created (e.g. Gaia I, II etc).

The base is created with brass filigree, then painted in different metallic shades, and adorned with acrylic half pearls, rhinestones and/or glass crystals.

Gaia I: Brass filigree metal base painted in a golden shade, adorned with golden acrylic rhinestones and a yellow high quality glass crystal.

Gaia II (Carolas par): Brass filigree metal base painted in a golden shade, adorned with golden/rosé acrylic rhinestones and a matching golden yellow/rosé pink high quality glass crystal. Detta är paret som Carola bar i samband med firandet av 40 år som artist. 

Gaia III: Brass filigree metal base painted in two shades, one copper upper part and one golden shade on the bottom part, adorned with golden and rosé gold acrylic rhinestones and an AB purple high quality glass crystal.

Gaia IV: Brass filigree metal base painted in a gun metal shade, adorned with rosé gold acrylic rhinestones and an AB rosé high quality glass crystal. ONLY AVAILABLE IN STOCKHOLM, MADE BY GALLERY Nov 18th - Dec 20th 

Gaia V: Brass filigree metal base painted in two shades, one gun metal upper part and one pale antique gold shade on the bottom part, adorned with AB sapphire/purple acrylic rhinestones and a round purple high quality glass crystal.

Gaia VI: Brass filigree metal base painted in a pale antique gold shade, adorned with acrylic half pearls and a pearl surrounded by clear high quality glass crystal.

Gaia VII (sustainable edition): Brass filigree metal base painted in a pale antique gold shade, adorned with a large vintage irridecent AB sapphire crystal, and matching deadstock rhinestones.

Sustainability footprint: No repurposed materials are usually used for these pieces.

About the collection:

The Deusa ex Machina collection is inspired by the female deities and Goddesses of Greek Mythology. Each design is inspired by and named after a Goddess. For example, with a little bit of imagination one can see the pommegranate in the design of the Persephone earring, and growth in the Demeter earring.

Each design is created with a one of a kind touch, meaning that the colour combos in adornments will not be repeated, thus each piece is numbered with Roman numerals in the order they were created.
